Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions set out the terms and conditions in relation to all and any Celebrant Training Courses sold by Us to You the Consumer through this website, choicecelebranttraining.co.uk

Please read these Terms carefully and ensure that You understand them before purchasing a Celebrant Training Course. You will be required to read, accept, and agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If You do not, You will not be able to purchase any of our Celebrant Training Courses.

All the information that We give to You will be part of the terms of Our Contract with You as a Consumer. We are required by law to give these Terms to You before You register or purchase Celebrant Training Course.

“We/Us/Our”Means Choice Celebrant Training
“You”Means the Consumer who purchases any Celebrant Training Course, online, group or in person and accesses and uses any Paid Content.

We make all reasonable efforts to ensure that all descriptions of Celebrant Training Courses available from Us correspond to the actual Celebrant Training Course that You will receive. Please note, however, that due to You requesting or Us having to make individual changes minor differences may occur.

Minor changes may, from time to time, be made to certain Content, for example, to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements, or to address technical or security issues. These changes will not alter the main characteristics of the Content and should not normally affect Your use of that Content. However, if any change is made that would affect Your use of the Content, suitable information will be provided to You.

Where any updates are made to Content, that Content will continue to match Our description of it as provided to You before You purchased Your Celebrant Training Course with access to the Content. Please note that this does not prevent Us from enhancing the Content, thereby going beyond the original description.

We make all reasonable efforts to ensure that all prices shown on Our Site are correct at the time of going online. All pricing information is reviewed and updated annually.

If We discover an error in the price or description of Your Celebrant Training Course after Your order is processed, We will inform You immediately and make all reasonable efforts to correct the error. You may, however, have the right to cancel the Contract if this happens.

Payment for each Celebrant Training Course must always be made in advance in full or in monthly part payments. Your chosen payment method will be charged when We process Your order and send You Confirmation.

If You do not make any payment due to Us on time, We will suspend Your access Training Sessions and any Celebrant Training Course Materials. Any scheduled Zoom, group or in person Training Sessions will be suspended until outstanding payments have been received in cleared funds. If You do not make payment within 28 days of Our reminder, We may cancel the Contract. Any outstanding sums due to Us will remain due and payable.

When You purchase a Celebrant Training Course, We will grant You a non-exclusive, non-transferable, access to participate in and use the relevant Content for Your personal, non-commercial purposes. The does not give You any rights to our content.

All videos, (other than stated), images (other than stated), content (other than stated), website content (other than stated), blogs (other than stated) and Celebrant Training Course Materials are the property of Choice Celebrant Training. You may not copy, share, sell, transfer, republish, broadcast or other transmit (Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988, Chapter 3 ‘Acts Permitted in relation to Copyright Works’).

Cancelling Your Course

You have a legal right to cancel the Contract for any reason, including if You have changed Your mind, and receive a refund within 14 calendar days of sending any payment to Us.  The period begins once We have sent You Your Celebrant Training Course Confirmation (i.e. when the Contract between You and Us is formed) and ends when You access (e.g. download or stream) any Content (including entering the Choice Celebrant Training Portal), a Training Session has taken place, or 14 calendar days after the date of Our Celebrant Training Course Confirmation, whichever occurs first. 

After this period, We cannot offer any refunds should You decide to cease Your course of learning.

Celebrant Training Course Timeframes are as outlined:

Certificate in Wedding Celebrancy 5 months from sign up date to course completion

Certificate in Funeral Celebrancy 5 months from sign up date to course completion

Certificate Wedding and Funeral Celebrancy (including completion of the Life Events Module) 10 months from sign up date to course completion.

All Accelerated Celebrant Training Courses have a timeframe of 8 consecutive working days from given start date to completion. If this course isn’t completed within this allocated timeframe. You will be transferred to Online Learning and the above timeframes for completion will be applicable.

If the timeframe duration has surpassed to finish Your Celebrant Training, an additional 50% of the current Course Fee displayed on Our website will be required to be paid in full to commence Your Celebrant Training Course.

Celebrant Trainers

We make every effort to make sure You are allocated the Celebrant Trainer of Your choice. However, should a Trainer be unavailable due to illness, personal circumstances or if they leave Choice Celebrant Training, You will be assigned a different Celebrant Trainer. Should this happen, refunds of Course fees won’t be given.

We are not responsible for any technical issues You may have when accessing Our website or when using Zoom, email, or any other methods of communication.

Complaints and Feedback

All complaints are handled in accordance with Our complaints handling policy and procedure.

For information on how We Use Your Personal Information (Data Protection), refer to the Privacy Policy on Our website.

The Contract is between You and Us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions seek to exclude or limit Your legal rights as a consumer. For more details of Your legal rights, please refer to Your local Citizens Advice Bureau or Trading Standards Office.
