Speaking in public is part of the role of being a celebrant. Many celebrants have been involved in public speaking through other jobs, hobbies or personal commitments, some have very little experience of public speaking.
When a celebrant speaks in front of an audience of people, we are holding space, we talk to people rather than talking at them. Speaking in public as a celebrant is different to public speaking. We are verbally delivering a ceremony to and for others and we must do so in a professional and engaging manner.
Nerves are part of speaking in public as is the right pace of delivery, encouraging audience participation, engaging with individuals and being able to alter our tone of voice and have carry our voice to be heard. All things which should be covered during celebrant training, but what if you require further information or you haven’t the confidence.
Our Speaking in Public Coaching For Celebrants mentoring session covers all of the above points and much more. Each session is on video call with Glenn Reynolds, (an established celebrant and Celebrant Trainer who has plenty of theatre and stage experience).

1-2-1 interactive personal coaching
Confidence boosting
Practical guidance
Feedback
Each single session is 1 hour long and costs £50. Additional sessions can be booked if required and it is open to all celebrants.
